During the Covid emergency, updates to this documents have been deferred in favour of task-specific guidance, to avoid overwhelming volunteers with information not of direct relevance.

During the Covid emergency, a much wider range of volunteering activity has been undertaken with many specific tasks being undertaken by new volunteers under HTL direction.

To make it easier to guide these volunteers, a series of short guideline documents has been prepared so that a volunteer can easily be directed to relevant information.

A full list of these guidelines documents is maintained on the 'Pulling Together Ludlow' website, as this is known to more new volunteers. Click here to see the list.

Note that some more sensitive documents are password-protected and can only be downloaded with the permission of the HTL Volunteer co-ordinator.

Our vision is for a happy, hospitable, compassionate and just community which helps people help themselves, and our mission is to provide a more effective community process for achieving this vision. We do this by creating a network of volunteers which works with agencies, charitable organisations, local businesses and churches, to identify and provide relief to people in need and find community building solutions in Ludlow and the surrounding villages in South Shropshire.

We are funded by the community and many other groups, including:
