DIY & Gardening Help

People’s mental health and well being are linked to their surroundings so where we can we aim to help local people who are unable to either (i) do the work themselves (ii) afford to pay commercial rates for essential works or (iii) rely on friends, neighbours or family to help them.

  • The type of DIY work we are able to do ranges from replacing a lightbulb to helping putting up curtain rails, a common request when people are downsizing to their retirement home.

  • The type of garden work we can do ranges from putting up a bird feeder to a one-off cut for a lawn or hedge, usually because someone’s garden has grown to a state beyond them due to a prolonged stay in hospital.

  • Clients would be expected to pay for or provide all materials required for jobs undertaken.
