Why should you donate?
People choose to support Hands Together Ludlow because they want to make a real difference close to home, to people like Jane*
When Jane first came to HTL in 2025, she had escaped domestic abuse and was rebuilding a safe life for herself and her children. Even entering our building felt daunting.
The family faced multiple challenges, including food and household costs, as well as creating a stable home environment. While HTL could not provide every form of support directly, we became a trusted place where Jane could seek guidance. By listening, understanding her needs, and connecting her with local organisations, we helped her access practical support, including food and fuel assistance, energy-efficiency improvements, and essential items for her children.
In 2026, Jane returned to HTL with her newborn baby. For someone who had once been too frightened to come through our doors, this simple visit was a powerful reminder of the trust and confidence she had rebuilt.
For us, that is impact.
Sometimes the most important thing we provide is trust.
