Hands Together are able to offer one-to-one support to individuals in a range of ways:
The services we offer include:
- Hardship Fund - An emergancy one-off grant for those experiencing extreme financial hardship.
- Help Hub - One-to-one support with a volunteer who can provide support with a range of online forms. These include Carer's Allowance, Blue Badge, Bus Pass, Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit and Universal Credit. Please note we strictly can not assist with Personal Independence Payment.
If we cannot help, we can signpost and make referrals to other organisations:
- Food Bank Referral - We work closely with the Food Bank and are able to make referrals to those needsing a food parcel.
- Fuel Poverty Referral - We are able to make referrals to Ludlow Food Bank for those experiencing fuel poverty. This is dependant on if the Food Bank are able to offer this grant.
- Rough Sleepers - We work closely with the Shropshire Rough Sleeper Team and Stephen House to offer support for rough sleepers in our community.
- Citizens Advice - As of Thursday 8th August,and every Thursday thereafter, a Citizens Advice Bereau will be taking a room at the Hands Together Ludlow building for face-to-face appointments only. Please call us (01584 873062) and we will pass your enquiry to CA who will contact you directly with an appointment date and time.
